Lacewings

The green lacewing is an excellent beneficial insect.
She feeds on aphids, whitefly, thrips, spidermites, leafhoppers, scales crawlers and much more.
She is a slow flying, largely nocturnal insect. She can lay up to 1000 eggs in a 4 to 6 week period.

Lacewings are safe for people and pets. They are also easy to use and a pleasure to have in the garden and in green houses.

Please note: Lacewings are the most fragile of all beneficial organisms and must ship UPS OVERNIGHT. We ship Mondays and Tuesdays, so your Lacewings will arrive Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you order later in the week we will hold your order and ship the following Monday. The reason for this is to avoid "down time" over the weekend when the bugs are most likely to die.
